Music has always been a point of

inspiration to me, and I'm lucky enough to live in a city that has some incredible local talent. LA Dies and Good Dog Nigel are two bands who have helped shape the local music scene into what

it is today.

For the LA Dies poster, I wanted to give the design a similar feel as the 70s and 80s hand drawn grunge posters. To make sure the type wasn't two clean, I created two unique font families that I mixed in together. This gives it a much more organic and raw look.

For the Good Dog Nigel poster, their aesthetic is ever-changing but always focused on pushing the limits. I first illustrated the dog by hand on paper, and then transferred it to the computer where I finished the work.
